Schieritz-Strasse

Schieritzstraße 29/31
Pankow-Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin

The new planned construction project is located in the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg at Schieritzstraße 29/31, a side street in immediate proximity to Greifswalder Straße, which connects the project location with Alexanderplatz in one direction and with the Weissensee district in the other. Connections to public transport - ÖPNV (tram M4, bus 156 and 158) can be reached within a short walking distance. The plot of land extends from Schieritzstraße in the north and is around 30 m long and around 19.5 m wide. The facade of the building complements the perimeter block development and closes the existing gap.

In terms of eaves height and roof height the building fits in with the neighbouring structuresand harmonically blends in with the surroundings. The facade facing Schieritzstraße with two bay windows protruding one meter and balconies located in between them resembles buildings in Schieritzstraße 23 and 27. The length of bay windows and balconies also falls within established norms of reference buildings. Tenants can access balconies and bay windows from apartments thanks to large openings in the facade.

On the basement level there are individual storage units and technical rooms (houseconnection points and house technical services). Parking spaces for cars are not available. Every new apartment comes with a basement storage unit with light and electric power. Its dimensions allow for storing bicycles, among other things. The communal facility for bicycle parking available to all residents offers spots for at least 30 bicycles.
